“Everyone’s Crazy Except You and Me….And I’m Not So Sure About You”
Definition of a word you mentioned
Lionel, please help me out here. I have heard you use a word and whenever I hear a word I am not familiar with I like to educate myself and look it up. For the life of me I can't find this one in the dictionary.
Not even sure if I am spelling it correctly so I will spell it as it sounds. "BEYOSIAN".

By Mark MorrisonJuly 22, 2008 - 6:24pmInterview on CNN on Obama in Iraq with Lionel and Michael Reagan
Interesting all around. There was an answer to the person who commented and wanted to find the definition, if it is useful that I observed used in a telling way. First, the definition paraphrased (thanks to www.dictionary.com) was for the word apotheosis that Lionel used. By the way, Lionel's timing was impeccable as per usual and he used the media to the fullest extent to get his points across. Great!
So, here is what I noticed: Lionel used apotheosis, which is to treat someone as if they were a god. The switch comes when you hear how Michael Reagan, hears it picks up on it, then reuses the drift by saying beatification of Obama, a really fascinating way to rephrase it. Because beatification is technically what the Pope would do when a loved one is deceased to say that they are happy in heaven and deserving of certain honor. Also, a second meaning of beatification is: to make someone happy. Whether the Obama campaign is happy with the frenzy (and unfairness in that context that Lionel speaks of), or even if Obama is happy with this if it were not genuine only the polls will tell.
Everyone who is jealous of the media treatment of a peacemonger, who speaks to the needs of the American people and wants to have detente or diplomacy, and fair treatment to the soldiers does not deserve slanted media attention. That person needs constant fair accolades from US citizens and the service men and women who are also in favor of some of these things, despite being in harm's way. Other than noticing the difference in their agreement of the meanings of the two different words that do not really match, I think that Reagan or others are not looking at this with a fresh perspective. Maybe this should be a wake-up call for the conservatives that they should listen to their constituents at home, rather than brush up on all their own travels with committees.
