News:
The newly revealed results of a secret fact-finding mission to Iraq show that when President Bush declared in 2003 that “We have found the weapons of mass destruction”—referring to two mobile “biological laboratories”—he was doing so even though he must have known that the evidence had already been discredited. In fact, the leaders of a Pentagon-sponsored team had determined two days beforehand that the trailers had nothing to do with biological weapons, a finding they sent to Washington, where it was classified top secret. Meanwhile, for almost a year afterwards, the Bush administration continued to point to the trailers as vindication of its push to invade Iraq.
Well folks, this is what we've been saying all along.
Starting a war on false pretenses. And the smoking guns PROVING that this admin. KNOWINGLY started a war on false pretenses are finally coming to light.
Can we say, impeachment? How much proof do we need before this do-nothing congress gets off its collective fat ass and holds this administration accountable for its crimes?

old news. I knew it was bogus when I saw this story on the news, certainly the President knew it was bogus. And let's not forget the media's rabid search for some evidence, any evidence that might help to cover their sold-out asses, as well. I remember CNN showing some rusted barrells buried in the dirt as possible chemical agents used for WMDs. Can we impeach the MSM?

Typical NO REPORT ALL HEAR SAY RECOLLECTION BS. Oh for example:::
One line in this article reads:
U.S. officials asserted that Iraq had biological weapons factories in trailers, even after a Pentagon mission found them unsuited for that role
A second comment was:
But interviews reveal that the technical team was unequivocal in its conclusion that the trailers were not intended to manufacture biological weapons.
Who in this article said that there was "NO WAY" instead they use words like "NOT INTENDED" "UNSUITABLE". But what were they used for then is that anywhere written to what they were used for?

Well, it's as close to 100% as you can get...they WEREN'T used for WMD since there were NO WMD. And as for what their INTENDED use is...that is inherent in the design....and the design wasn't for WMD. Could they have been used for it? Hell, ALL SORTS OF things can be used for WMD...Bathtubs, water heaters, any tank or tub CAN be used.....How can we know what the INTENTION of Saddam is or was? The posterchild for keeping abortion legal.
Abortion is legal. It will continue to be legal. Roe v. Wade will stand.
And that just gnaws away at you, doesn't it? It just makes you foam at the mouth. 'Cause not only do you lose that argument in this country, you're starting to discover that your precious President is a criminal after all.
You & the "conservative Christians" (which, BTW is a contradiction in terms) preach the "culture of life", while supporting an illegal war that has resulted in the death of THOUSANDS of innocent Iraqi citizens, whose only crime was being in the wrong place at the wrong time, during the reign of the wrong President. You label yourselves "Christians" and wear your religion on your sleeve, while simultaneously perverting the teachings of the true "Prince of Peace".
Next time you get on your arrogant, hypocritical, ridiculous high horse, and rant and rave about how we should "kill them there, so we won't have to fight them here", ask yourself one question Einstein: "What would Jesus do?"
Would he advocate the conservative ideology: pro-war, pro-death penalty, pro-business, pro-bigotry? Or would he come down on the side of liberals: pro-peace, pro-labor, pro-choice, pro-diversity.
If you claim him as your savior, then start acting like it.

Have you emailed all the Congress and the President and asked them why they haven't done something to save all those "babies"? Your boys could do it tomorrow, if they wanted to. Apparently they don't.

He used chemical weapons in a war against the Iranians and against the Kurds, who aren't technically "his own people". They happened to live inside the borders of Iraq, but as we see with this civil war, there isn't a lot of love among the various clans and ethnic groups. Saddam concluded that the Kurds weren't loyal....and they weren't....so he attacked them. I guess THAT'S where the WMDs went, hunh?

CONDONE isn't the correct word....
Condone....To overlook, forgive, or disregard (an offense) without protest or censure.
The correct word would be "accept" abortion as a consequence of irresponsible sexual behavior or bad luck. I don't see aborton as an "offense", certainly not in the sense of a criminal offense.

My take. The fetus has no standing other than that conferred by the mother....if she wants a baby, then the fetus can be considered a baby. If she doesn't want the baby, it has no independent standing, and she can have the abortion without consulting anyone.
And technology makes the whole abortion argument moot. Women will decide for themselves.

Do you read anything other than Newsmax?
Let me re-phrase that -- are you CAPABLE or reading
anything *other* than NewsMax?
But hey, we already know you get aggitated when
you think of all those women taking the control
of their own destinies by having abortions. You
needn't go on with that.
However, you might want to do some more research
and find out WHY the abortion rate is so high. I
suspect it might have to do with the so-called
*abstinence* form of birth control information
being diseminated to children across the country.
Because *abstinence* doesn't work - especially when
male children are raised with daily advertisements
about drugs that give them super erections. And of
course the slimy Girls Gone Wild videos, which give
the straight male the incorrect impression that women
are basically on the planet to get drunk and
service them at the drop of a hat.
So, basically you hide behind your blinkers,
screaming for proof, because you cannot or will not
do a google search on the articles being put forth
about the lies used by Bush to promulgate a war
for control of the oil fields, and to fill the
pockets of his rich supporters? You still want
to wrap yourself in the American flag, hang on to
your dick, and whistle the Star Spangled Banner?
Pathetic little nazi drone. If you are so gungho
about this war, and Bush's policies -- why don't you
ENLIST? Then your family can struggle trying to feed
itself on the pittance soldier's families deal with
daily, while you get to kill brown babies in
Iraq.

The Dem version of the bill earmarked money for the families of Reservists so that they could continue on their insurance policies when their breadwinner was called to service for a long enough period (more than the usual two weeks of training every year). Many reservists have lost their jobs because they have been gone for a year or more, some on their second deployment. And with those jobs went the insurance coverage for their families. As it's a secret report, maybe you can write your congressman or President and ask them to reveal the contents of the report. In the meanwhile, someone in the administration thinks the truth is important enough to get the word out, at the risk of their jobs or prison.

Basic rule of logic... you can't "prove" a negative, only a positive. But then again, logic is not your strong suit.
FACT: No WMDs were ever found in Iraq, both prior to the U.S. invasion in '03 and upon conclusion of the search by U.S. and U.N. representatives.
FACT: Bush has admitted to being the original source of the leak that "outed" Valerie Plame. And he didn't officially declassify the NIE for another 10 days.
FACT: Bush cited the "yellow cake from Niger" report during a state of the union address when he knew that the intelligence community felt that this information was false.
And FACT: We don't have a commander-in-chief, we have a deceiver-in-chief.
Don't spin it. Don't feebly try to explain it away. Don't make any more lame excuses. Suck it up, and DEAL WITH IT.

I need a translator, perhaps....but I'll take a stab at it....NO, what I am saying is EXACTLY WHAT I SAID...It's impossible for Kerry and Clinton to have the same intel as Bush had in 2003 UNLESS the CIA and NSA and military intel. ALL took a few years off and produced no new intel. I think that is HIGHLY UNLIKELY, don't you?
As well as all those resolutions that the UN voted on or should I say toothless UN.
You mean the UN that Bush counted on for support and SAID he would go to for a final approval for war, and when he found out he would NOT get the OK from the UN....BECAUSE the UN had been contacted by Iraq's representative that Saddam was ready to deal...he then stiffarmed the UN and went straight to war???? Earlier today, I ordered America's armed forces to strike military and security targets in Iraq. They are joined by British forces. Their mission is to attack Iraq's nuclear, chemical and biological weapons programs and its military capacity to threaten its neighbors.
Their purpose is to protect the national interest of the United States, and indeed the interests of people throughout the Middle East and around the world."

Con-let keeps using the COURT of LAW line, and it isn't quite true...the House brings the articles of impeachment and the Senate convenes under oath, as are all witnesses, to try it. Not a COURT as in the Supreme court, but in the Senate Chambers.

so?
You still seem to be obsessing over women
again. Personally, the only thing that annoys
me about Clinton's penchant for blowjobs is
that fact that his taste in women was attrocious.
Honestly, if all it took for my president to
attend to the real problems of this country, and
keep us out of *wars* for the wealthy was the
occasional blowjob -- hell, I think we should
set up a fund for THAT.
Balance the budget, nationalize medical care -
that will get him a weekend at the Chicken Ranch.
It would be far cheaper in the long run.

By mtmeggidoApril 13, 2006 - 10:44pmWow, indeed.....
"No WMDs were ever found in Iraq, both prior to the U.S. invasion in '03 and upon conclusion of the search by U.S. and U.N. representatives.
If so (IF A BIG WORD),"
Not IF, because had any been found, even a drum of doctored bug spray, this desperate Bush Crime Family, Inc. would have trumpetted it to the stars.
"How is that Bushes fault... Didn't Clinton and Kerry state the same thing? They had the same intel."
Absolutely WRONG. The President gets a LOT more intel than a Senator. And, unless the CIA and NSA were sitting on their hands for a couple of years and didn't generate any NEW intel after Clinton left office, then Bush had to have more....and more importantly, more RECENT intel, BETTER intel. Wrong AGAIN!
"What is Bush's fault is that he used this as one of his many, and ever changing, reasons for the invasion. And since there was little evidence and no proof that there were any, he lied about their existence. "
.......Bush has admitted to being the original source of the leak that "outed" Valerie Plame. And he didn't officially declassify the NIE for another 10 days.........
"I'm sorry, I must have missed this. Is this another answer from your magic ball?"
....no it's from Bushbaby's own lips....he said he declassified the document (actually only part of it) for America's good, because a lot of American's wanted to know why he went to war with Iraq....YOUR BOY ADMITTED IT ON TV, SPARKY. That magic ball called a tv screen.
"Bush cited the "yellow cake from Niger" report during a state of the union address when he knew that the intelligence community felt that this information was false.
Wilson's take on his fact finding mission:"
""I spent the next eight days drinking sweet mint tea and meeting with dozens of people: current government officials, former government officials, people associated with the country's uranium business. It did not take long to conclude that it was highly doubtful that any such transaction had ever taken place..."".
"NOW THAT"S AN INVESTIGATION..... WOW"
Well, Sparky, how do YOU do YOUR investigations concerning the transfer of conrtolled substances, what is YOUR favorite technique, Mr. Expert Arms-control-guy????

By skaemporiumApril 12, 2006 - 2:57pmLet me give you a lesson in proving something
In science every theory has to be taken with a grain of skeptatism. You see, every theory could at some point be proven incorrect. It only takes one controdiction to do so. For example the theory of universal gravitation proposed by Newton held for 2 centuries before it was proven incorrect, a close aproximation at non relativistic speeds but incorrect none the less. You see the reason that we can never fully trust any theory is because it can not be proven correct, it can only be proven incorrect, and it is only repeated testing and showing an inablity to prove a theory incorrect that we can gain trust in it.
Now take the example of WMD's in Iraq. We liberals have made an observation, we see no WMD's. We hypothesize that there are no WMD's in Iraq based on our observations. We conduct research, weapons inspectors look all over Iraq and find none. The evidence supporting the hypothesis that there were WMD's is questioned. The result is we find no evidence of the presence of WMD's and the former evidence appears to be incorrect. Our hypothesis being backed by this evidence becomes a theory. At any time if WMD's are found in Iraq that theory is proven incorrect, however as we continue to look and as more and more of the evidence saying that there should be WMD's in Iraq is shown to be incorrect our trust in the theory grows to the point we are very confident that the theory is correct. It can never be proven correct but at some point you have to say that I am 99.9% sure that this theory is correct and will assume that it is correct while keeping it in the back of my mind that there is still a slim chance that it is incorrect.
We have reached this point in Iraq. It is logical to assume that there are no WMD's in the country. It is possible that there are or were but that seems so unlikely at this point we can safely ignore that possiblity with almost no chance of regretting it. I mean after all, there is always the remote possibiity that every single paricle in all the WMD's in Iraq underwent a massive quantum fluctuation so that the WMD's essentially disappeared. There is that undeniable possiblity. Even though you have a better chance of winning the lottery 1,000,000 times in a row, a much better chance.
