While distractions prevail -- I am watching the rustling in the curtains where behind the scenes the Rovers are getting ready to launch a third war -- the war they hope will frighten Americans into submission to a third Bush/Cheney/Oil/Haliburton/BlackWater/StormTrooper/Torturer and Unpatriotic term and an endlessly profitable Third World War.

We already have TWO disastrous misadventures underway that have bankrupted our country, made us much less safe, killed more than 1,000 young Americans and perhaps a million innocent civilians if both countries are counted and the fall-out from illness, privation and injury are included. How much do we need a third evil adventure?

Look at the map -- the Oil Barons want a clear shot to the Caspian Reserves -- at our expense, and their profit. Do not discount the Saudi robes behind the curtain as they own the Bush tribe by now -- and a fair amount of all of us. The allegiance of our current rulers is to no flag, not even our own. It is to the mega-billion international consortium from whom their vast wealth and power is obtained. This is worse than a coup from within -- it is the prospect of endless war for resources and private profit and power. The new emerging nations are not nations at all -- they are International Corporations and they answer to no citizen. Do not mistake this. See it and stop it. This is our last chance to stop it. The Rovers will do anything, including the unthinkable to keep and grow power. The only hope is the truth and the truth spread far and fast -- very far and very fast. It is not just our country at stake -- it is the safety and survival of the world....

We need a leader with the wisdom and the judgment and the character to avoid a third ill advised war for profit. The truest Patriot will not be the one who plunges us headlong into another disastrous war, but who has the diplomatic skills to keep us out of one.

A Patriot is one who the best interests of the citizens and the Constitution at heart -- not risk-taking, gambling, greed, and endless war waged for the profit of the Oil/Weapons Cabal.

A true Patriot protects us by reducing the risk we face -- not by inflaming hatred against Americans through the outrageous and shameful use of torture (I can scarcely believe I even have to write that word in the context of America) disappearance, illegal detention, the killing of civilians, the shock and awe of destroying whole neighborhoods -- whole countries, in pursuit of power and wealth. A true Patriot will build American security not through increasing hatred and fear -- but through doing the diplomatic work to build global justice, stability, and prosperity for the many -- not just the few.
